Power Trading
Smarter electricity procurement and sale for businesses and generators.
Power trading lets businesses buy electricity at competitive rates and lets generators sell surplus power, through the power exchange or through bilateral agreements with other parties.
Alongside our solar and renewable energy projects, Hiker Engineering helps you understand your options, structure the right arrangement and manage the process from enquiry to supply.
Key Benefits

Source electricity at competitive rates instead of relying on a single supply option.
Monetise Surplus Generation

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can benefit from power trading?
Commercial and industrial consumers looking to manage electricity costs, and generators, including solar and other renewable producers, with power to sell.
Does it replace a solar installation?
No — the two work well together. Solar reduces what you draw from the grid, and power trading can help source the remaining requirement or sell surplus.
